At Waymaker Essentials, our story began with a heartfelt mission and a divine calling. Early in 2025, our founder, Aly, set out to raise funds for a mission trip to Barcelona, Spain. While brainstorming creative ways to support this journey, she felt the Lord place a vision on her heart: to share her homemade tallow balm and chapstick with others. With the support of her husband, this inspiration gave birth to Waymaker Essentials—a brand rooted in faith, purpose, and a passion for natural wellness.

As a nurse with almost a decade of experience, Aly has witnessed the alarming decline in people’s overall health and wellbeing. Her work in healthcare, combined with her journey as a mother, sparked a deep commitment for herself and her family to focus on preventative care—addressing health concerns before they become problems. This led Aly and her husband to embrace small, intentional changes in their family’s lifestyle, from scrutinizing ingredient labels to choosing organic, chemical-free products. Their goal? To feel confident about what they bring into their home, put on their bodies, and share with their children.

Aly’s discovery of tallow as a skincare ingredient was a game-changer. Frustrated by so-called “clean” beauty products packed with unpronounceable chemicals and synthetic additives, she turned to a simpler, more natural solution. Tallow, made up of vitamins and antioxidants, as well as fatty acids that closely mimic those in human skin, is a powerhouse for moisturizing and rejuvenating skin without the need for harmful additives. What started as a fundraising effort quickly grew into a mission to provide high quality, effective personal care products that align with the body’s natural design.
